Cuzzin Connections
The term Cuzzin Connections came from our experiences growing up in Philly and having “play cousins”. A play cousin is someone from your neighborhood who you often played with as a child. Most commonly, your families probably knew each other for generations, so you were practically cousins by association regardless of blood or DNA.
Our Cuzzin Connections are events and experiences that connect our members across industries, borders, and limitations! We know how powerful connection and collaboration can be for creatives and businesses and for our humanity in general! It is our intention to host quarterly Cuzzin Connections in four or more major U.S. cities and the four major regions across Africa beginning 2024.
The Census Bureau projects that by 2060 16.5% of Black People living in the U.S. will be immigrants. With this rapid growth, we understand the need and the ancestral call for ubuntu and we hope that The BLACK Spot will be a unifying homeland for us all!
